Application
XCM1 series plastics shell breaker (briefly named breakers) is one of the new type breakers developed by our company and involving internationally advanced technologies. With the rated insulation voltage of 800V, the breakers are fit for the power distribution electric grids and circuits of AC 50Hz and with the rated operating voltage up to 690V (400V for XCM1-63) and rated current up to 800A. They are intended for distribution of power supply and protecting the circuits and power equipment from damages arising from overload, short circuit, under voltage, etc., and may also be intended for protecting motors from non-frequent starting, overload, short circuit, under voltage, etc.
Breakers can be installe dvertically or horizontally. Breakers play the role of segregation, in which case, the corresponding symbol is: Breakers shall have proper wire connection, namely wire 1,3 and 5 shall be connected to the power line, and 2, 4 and 6 to load line.
Standards involved: compliant with IEC60947-2, GB14048.2. Applicable environment Ambient air temperature Upper limit: +40℃ Lower limit: -5℃ Average value of the ambient air temperature shall not exceed +35℃. Elevation: elevation of the place of installation shall not exceed 2000m.
Atmospheric conditions: the relative humidity of the atmosphere shall not exceed 50% when the ambient air temperature is +40℃; where the temperature is lower, the relative humidity may be higher. The maximum humidity shall be 90% in the most humid month and the average temperature of the month shall not be lower than +25℃. In this case, the condensation on the product surface arising from temperature variation shall be taken into account.
Pollution level: 3 Main circuit and under voltage release shall be in the installation type III with the rest auxiliary circuits and control circuits in type II. The maximum inclination in the installation of breakers is ±22.5°. Breakers shall be installed in media where there is no risk of explosion and where there is no gas that may cause corrosion of metal or damage of insulation and no conducting dusts. Breakers shall be installed where they are protected from rains and snow. |
